Stories of a Boat is a chapter of my life when I decided to travel alone to Egypt and take photos on Adam’s boat — a local Egyptian whose calm presence seems to bring peace every time he speaks.
I’ve always wanted to capture places where photography feels almost surreal. The interesting thing is that once you’re there, nothing seems that distant anymore. I’m also interested in dissolving the fear of the unknown and bridging the gap between cultures.
Through these images, I try to show that nothing is truly far away — it’s all about the perspective from which we see things, and how that perspective shapes our reality.
Photos taken in Hurghada, Red Sea.
